• Proactively build relationships with stakeholders to increase their awareness of the value and benefits of apprenticeship and graduate programmes and provide information, advice and guidance relevant to their requirements
  • Lead on promoting early career opportunities to increase uptake of Apprenticeship or Graduate programmes which will include delivering presentations or facilitating workshops internally or externally
  • Manage our early career events (e.g. school, college and campus events) including the design and planning of internal events, aimed at attracting prospective early career talent and building the ilke Homes brand
  • Manage the Digital Apprenticeship Service regarding learners and providers
  • Actively engage with the apprentices and graduates within the business to support their development in both working and professional spheres
  • Support Line Managers and mentors to provide pastoral care and support to learners when required
  • Assess the overall quality of all programmes by way off observations and assessment together with attending regular meetings with stakeholders, colleges and providers
  • Involvement with schools, colleges or other organisations working with young people to raise awareness of careers opportunities
  • Work with the resourcing team to develop, design a consistent and fair assessment and selection processes
  • Provide regular feedback to learners, line managers, business leaders and local HR teams on the progression and performance of their learners. Identifying strengths and development opportunities for each learner.
  • Manage the budget for graduate and apprenticeship programmes working with Head of L&D to forecast spend

 

Experience

·        Experience in a manufacturing, construction or engineering environment is desirable

·        Considerable experience in a similar role

·        Experience of leading and coaching managers

·        Relevant experience in the mechanics of apprenticeship and graduate programmes

·        Knowledge and relevant experience of working in the Skills and Apprenticeship sector with an appropriate body
