The Training Partner will support the Learning and Development Manager in ensuring that all training needs of the construction team are identified, solutions offered, and training delivered.

The nature of the business dictates that the role of the Training Partner is very much a mobile role with the expectation that site visits will be conducted 4 days a week.


  • Support the Learning and Development Manager in the implementation and delivery of the Learning and Development Strategy that will support organisation success and people development.
  • Facilitate training needs analysis and design training in line with skills gaps identified.
  • Support with the research, development, review and delivery of practical Learning and Development material and blended learning solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure training delivery meets operational needs and that training is delivered when necessary to drive capability and self-sufficiency.
  • Drive improvement in training efficiency by obtaining feedback on training outcomes and utilising this information to create new ways to deliver solutions ensuring a return on investment.
  • Lead on the delivery of the  onboarding training for all new joiners.
  • Ensuring delivery against legislative requirements and certificate expiry and refreshers.
  • Support the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) on-site training validation process.
  • Plan, develop, organise, write, and edit training materials for application in a construction environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable / a willingness to undertake a relevant qualification.
  •  Proven practical experience in the designing and facilitating of training material
