• Working in busy stores environment
  • Adhering to strict Health and Safety Regulations
  • Loading/Unloading Lorries, sometimes manually
  • Controlling and recording of goods inwards and outwards
  • Checking inbound deliveries against delivery notes and processing orders received

  • Ensure that all stock requisitions/material requests are processed in a timely, accurate manner to provide a good level of service and a clear audit trail

  • Maintain security throughout the stores restricting entry to authorized or accompanied persons and to ensure that all persons entering and using the Stores comply with Health and Safety Regulations
  • Maintain a high standard of Housekeeping consummate with safe working practices in both the Stores and the outside Yard and report all hazards directly to the Stores Supervisor

Person Specification

  • IT literate – MS Word and Excel
  • Previous experience of working in a stores/warehouse environment
  • Ability to work with others in a team and also under direction
  • Ability to meet KPI’s with little or no supervision
  • High attention to detail and quick learner
  • Hardworking, flexible and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask
